The Missoula Redevelopment Agency is excited to partner with the community to explore future uses of North MRL Triangle. Over nine months, GGLO, the project's lead consulting firm, and a team of consultants, will explore community priorities and redevelopment feasibility for this 8-acre, City-owned property north of MRL Park. All Missoula residents are invited to share their input through community workshops and public surveys. Ultimately, this process will produce a draft redevelopment plan that is feasible and reflects the goals and priorities of the community, the City, and the Midtown Master Plan.*This process is not meant to determine the future of the temporary emergency shelter located on the property.*
Phase 1: Imagine Future Uses
Phase 2: Review of Options

North MRL Triangle Redevelopment Public Workshop
Share North MRL Triangle Redevelopment Public Workshop on Facebook Share North MRL Triangle Redevelopment Public Workshop on Twitter Share North MRL Triangle Redevelopment Public Workshop on Linkedin Email North MRL Triangle Redevelopment Public Workshop linkThe Missoula Redevelopment Agency (MRA) invites the public to participate in an engagement process to help determine future uses of the eight-acre plot of City-owned land north of Montana Rail Link (MRL) Park.
The MRA has partnered with the Northwest-based design firm GGLO to lead a robust, multiphase process spanning approximately nine months. It will include public workshops and surveys with ample opportunities for public participation. The first public workshop is set for Wednesday, March 5, at 5:15 p.m. at Stockman Bank at 3615 Brooks St. Attendees can park in the bank parking lot and use the door on the east side of the building to access the meeting room.
“This is a unique opportunity for residents to reimagine the property,” said Michael Hicks, Project Manager with the MRA. “If you’re interested in how this site might redevelop, come share your perspective at the workshops. It will be exciting to see people’s ideas gain form.”
The March 5 workshop will be open house-style to allow the public to drop in until 8 p.m. Mayor Andrea Davis will offer a welcome at 5:30 p.m.
The public engagement process will help the MRA and the City of Missoula better understand the opinions and ideas of the public in how to reenvision the property north of MRL park. The process will include three workshops and surveys over the nine-month period, with a focus on potential uses for the property.
