How many community meetings will there be?
The plan calls for three: the first about visioning, the second about redevelopment options, and the third focused on a preferred option rendering.
When will the actual redevelopment occur?
This is still to be determined. This project is meant to make the property a better understood and thus more desirable candidate for redevelopment, once that occasion arises. Per Resolution 8729, City Council established the goal of completing demolition and site preparation of appropriate buildings by September 2026.
Who owns the property?
The City owns the property as part of its strategy to address the housing crisis through strategic investments.
