How is poverello center funded
Justbill asked over 1 year agoThe Poverello Center is an independent, non-profit organization. The City of Missoula does not oversee the organization's financials. The City of Missoula and Missoula County have collaborated in recent years to fund the Johnson Street Emergency Shelter, which is operated by the Poverello. Both the City and County contribute to some local non-profit organizations, including the Poverello. The bulk of the Poverello's funding is from federal grants and donations from members of the community. You can learn more about the Poverello Center's financing and programs in their Annual Report.

callofthevoid406 asked over 3 years agoMost of the residents come from referrals from case managers or other service providers. Individuals can call 406-802-4309 or email tsos@hopemontana.org to get on the waiting list. Interested parties are scheduled an assessment interview to verify if they would be a good fit to reside at the site. We also have a coordinated entry system that connects folks to all community housing resources via a single point of contact. You can find out more on our coordinated entry webpage or by calling 211 from any phone.
