Comments Encouraged: Orchard Gardens Notice of Intent
On or about January 27, 2025, the City of Missoula will submit a request to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the release of CDBG funds under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, (PL93-383) to undertake a project known as PY24 Homeword Orchard Gardens Rehab for the purpose of performing priority rehabilitation including replacement of heat pumps and HVAC controls at the 35-unit Orchard Gardens apartments, located at 210 N Grove Street. Total estimated funding for the project is $550,700, including $390,000 CDBG.
The activities proposed are categorically excluded under HUD regulations at 24 CFR Part 58 from National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements. An Environmental Review Record (ERR) that documents the environmental determinations for this project is available under Documents in the right sidebar. Copies are also on file at 435 Ryman Street, Missoula, MT 59802, and may be examined or copied weekdays 9:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. Copies are available in alternative languages upon request.
