Tell Us How Federal Funds Should be Spent in our Community

Now is your chance to influence how federal dollars are spent in our community!

Each year, the City of Missoula awards approximately $500,000 in federal CDBG funds to housing and community development projects and approximately $300,000 in federal HOME funds to housing projects that assist low- to moderate-income Missoulians secure safe and affordable homes.

As a requirement of this funding, Community Development must publish an Annual Action Plan, which details which projects we’ve chosen to fund for Program Year 2025 (PY25).

You can view the report here. The report can also be found under the “Documents” sidebar.

Comments on the PY25 Action Plan are welcomed and encouraged.

You can submit comments here, by emailing Kendra at the email address in the sidebar, or by calling 406-552-6642.

A public hearing to discuss the Plan before City Council is tentatively scheduled for Monday, May 5, 2025. Public comments are welcome during the meeting as well.
