Public Hearing

The public hearing opens on August 10. We expect final budget approval on August 17. Mayor Davis’s budget has a proposed increase of 3.8% this year. However, most long-term rentals, owner-occupied homes, and commercial businesses will see a tax decrease because of legislative changes in 2025. Second homes and short-term rentals will likely see a significant tax increase. Please feel free to leave a comment, ask a question, or attend a City Council meeting to comment.
