Street Lights are necessary the entire length of Reserve Street. Being a high volume access corridor. This should be lighted for all weather

Reserve street is a high access corridor, where cars and pedestrians are accessing or crossing the full length of Reserve. Safety is first and foremost. Lighting the corridor will create an ease of environment for both those traveling on Reserve, and those accessing the corridor. Look for a prime example of this in Great Falls Montana. 10th Ave in Great Falls is a very busy roadway much like reserve. Great falls has lights the full length of the roadway. This makes ease of travel much better. Especially in inclement weather. The bridge is similar to the bridge on Reserve, except it is fully lighted. Another key benefit 10th Ave has, is that the busiest portions of the road are expanded to 3 travel lanes in both directions. This should be a mandatory part of increasing the safety of the public on the Reserve Corridor.

Drop the speed to 40mph and enforce. 45mph is too fast and drivers usually go over that. Encourage residents to use secondary routes.

Paint is not safe infrastructure whatsoever

We need protected, separated bike lanes to keep drivers and cyclists safe. I have never felt safe for one second cycling on Reserve, but I know Missoulians who have to commute by bike using Reserve every day. We need separated bike lines, not a line of paint on the pavement that is the only thing "protecting" us from vehicles going 45+ mph inches from us. Thank you!

Prioritize moving traffic rather than slowing it down, this is why so many run red lights. Enforce the speed limit. Redesign north Reserve.

North reserve needs secondary roads to access businesses and get traffic off Reserve Street and allow through traffic for 93 to I90-think of Butte and how the freeway through it helps move you where you want to go. The side streets on North Reserve are not meant to move the amount of cars they are and need to be utilized better for people to get from Costco to other businesses in the area. Right hand turn lanes like the one going to Target or Lowe’s help traffic get safely out of the flow of traffic without slowing it down and result in less cars sitting at a traffic light. Getting in and out of Ross/TJMaxx area is a disaster and needs to be completely replaced with something that makes sense, and needs to another access point, one is not working.
